MARRIAGE OF THE SOUL WITH THE SHADOW

Soundtrack is a variation of "Entanglement", a previous composition realised in 2021

Kessel wanted us to discover our garden, not the orderly one, with cut hedges where the neighbors pass by while we cut the flowers, but the one where over the years plastics, rusty metals, objects of our childhood accumulate, the one we ourselves are ashamed of and that at the same time we refuse to dispose of, almost as if it were to erase a part of our past, and take away a part of the memory from ourselves.

Here I find myself dealing with a side of me with which I struggle a lot, the emotional relational one, the one that concerns my relationships, the space in which the affective and erotic bond makes up its lines that form my person.
Through the metaphor of the shadow I look into my unconscious and try to draw a sort of mantra from it, indulged by a sound accompaniment always made by me, to descend into a state of trance and touch my past, sharp.
It is a stimulus, only an attempt, to touch dead images, tiring for me to see as if to touch, which come to life as a voodoo ritual, in which the inanimate acquires an almost supernatural movement, in which only in its duration, it comes alive with a life of its past, in which in my shadow cone, I have the opportunity to look out with my shadow, communicate with it and therefore realize moments that are as present as past.
